Eisley Noelle

She's here!!! Eisley was born Saturday, March 29th, at 6:27 am. She weighed 8 lbs and 3 oz and was 18 3/4 inches long. That makes her the biggest and shortest of all our babies. We think that she is absolutely beautiful and are so proud to have another daughter. I was telling Brent last night that I cannot imagine how our family could be any more perfect than it is right now. You can see more pictures on Brent's website at http://www.babbcreative.com/eisley/ or if you click on "Eisley Noelle" above her picture it will take you to the website.

Keep checking back for new pictures!

our rainy tuesday

For those of you who don't know, we are on spring break this week! I am so glad that my kids are young enough that they are not expecting to go somewhere and do lots of things for their week off, because mommy is to big and pregnant for all that! They actually want to stay home all the time! So that is pretty much what we have done. Tuesday it rained ALL DAY LONG. Since we were not able to go outside to play, we stayed in our pajamas all day, played games and made Easter cookies. I think that the kids did a great job making them (with just a little help from mommy).

Siblings Class

I took Ashtyn and Josiah on Saturday to a class at the hospital for big brothers and sisters. They were really excited to go. They learned a lot of new things about babies. They were able to practice changing diapers, putting hats on the babies and they even learned how to swaddle them up in blankets. Of course, Josiah did not want a baby doll, so he just watched that part. Then they made "Happy Birthday" cards for their new baby. Josiah made a blue card and Ashtyn made a pink one. We finished off with a tour of the hospital and snacks!

SNOW!!!

I can't believe how much snow we got on Thursday! We had the largest, most beautiful snowflakes that I have ever seen. Some of them were at least 2 inches wide! The kids had so much fun, okay Brent and I did too, playing outside! By the time it had finished snowing, in some places, the snow was up to the boys knees! I would guess that we got at least 6-8 inches! We decided to order pizza so we could spend the whole evening playing together! The poor pizza man, but don't worry we gave him a good tip :)
Once the pizza finally came, Brent built us a fire and we ate pizza and had movie night in front of the fireplace. Can it get any better than that?

My Baby Boy is 3!

It is hard for me to believe that Isaiah is 3 years old! That seemed so much bigger when Ashtyn and Josiah turned 3. I am sure that I expected a lot more from them at that age than I do Isaiah. I guess that is just part of being the "baby" of the family. I wonder how that will change when the new baby gets here?

Isaiah had a hard time making up his mind what kind of birthday party that he wanted to have. We have been talking about it since Christmas and one day he will say a train party, the next Cars the movie party and the next, Doodlebop party. Well he had narrowed it down to a Doodlebop/Train party. I told Brent that he could have fun making up doodlebop/train party invitations!

But when it finally came time we ended up with...
Diego cupcakes and Thomas the Train napkins for his school,
and a family bowling party with Mickey Mouse napkins and cake.
(he really wanted a Cars the movie cake, but the cookie cake place didn't make them)
Of course we can't leave out the Superman wrapping paper!

Why not, right? After all you only turn 3 once!

Here are a few pics from the special occasion, by the way if you have never been bowling with a 3 year old it is quite an experience. (I would bring a chair!)

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas! The kids are at the perfect age to really enjoy Christmas and understand what it is truely all about. We don't "do" santa at our house, but I guarantee you that they are not missing out on anything. What joy it brings me to see them understanding God's perfect gift to us and relating that to why we give gifts to each other.

I am so thankful that all of my family lives close together and we were able to spend lots of time together during the holidays.
Grandad and BeBe (Brent's mom and dad) came to visit us and the kids really enjoyed spending time with them. We really missed not being able to make the trip to Louisiana to see the rest of Brent's family, but hopefully we will make it down to visit after our new baby comes!

As you can see below (with Isaiah), the dogs enjoyed Christmas too!

Living in Fort Worth...

Living in Fort Worth has been great! There is always something going on, especially this time of year. We had a great Thanksgiving. Brent's parents came to visit and we were able to do lots of fun things. I only wish that I had taken more pictures! We went to the Ice show at The Gaylord, the circus, and the Parade of Lights! The kids had so much fun at the Ice show. They keep asking when we can go back. You can see the pictures of the kids in their big parkas and sliding down the slides made completely of carved ice!
